Hi, everyone!
Have you tried meditating before? I’m not being paid or anything to advertise the app, but I’m really enjoying these short quiet moments in the morning. I feel lighter as compared to when I was just going through my daily routines. The relaxed state also helps my mind put my thoughts into writing. But maybe you’re using a different program or just doing it on your own. Either way, I hope you find time to meditate.
The mind was compared to a blue sky. It’s bright and free at all times. It allows thoughts to pass by or stay a bit longer, like clouds rolling through time. Sometimes we focus on the clouds, especially when we’re at a specific moment where great attention is needed, and sometimes a dark cloud comes along, and we allow it to chase our mind or cover that blue sky. However, we can always dig deeper within ourselves and see that clarity once again.
Your current state of mind affects your well-being. Before, when I want to remember something, like a task or a conversation I’d like to have, I would direct my mind to focus on the emotion, and difficult enough, the emotions create frustrations at the back of my mind. In the long run, whether I accomplish the task or not, the habit becomes unhealthy. Not to a point where the feeling is overpowering my ability to compehend, but a stressed feeling that I suffer from. Nowadays, when I’m not necessarily getting what I want like being stuck in traffic or a sudden task that changes my plans for the day, I would step back and breathe. I recognise the fact that some things are not in our control, that there are inevitable factors in a situation, and there are also things that we can change like our perception. I’ve been talking about “it’s just a matter of perspective” for quite some time now, and I’m always surprised by how amazing this principle really is. We can’t control everything, but we are always in control of how we react. I took an online test the other day, and I was happy that “optimism” is actually one of the things that I really value. Not that I’m entirely surprised by the result, but more of agreeing to it. Again, perception affects actions. I’m not saying that I don’t get stressed or frustrated now, but I’m able to find clarity faster because of meditation. Yesteday and today’s session was about letting go of the “thinking” and going through the recognising of how the mind feels. Giving it space to wander where it needs to be, but gently pulling it back to focus. We may always be busied by our daily tasks, but we must unfailingly find time for the mind and for ourselves. Hope you’re having a positive week. Stay inspired. Later days!

Always try to be a positive thinker, no matter what. Our outlook in life will always have a huge impact on our lives, so it will always be a better idea to surround ourselves with positive thoughts and good outlook in life. By the way, I just want to share the fact that medidation helped me a lot. It keeps me on track and have been teaching me not to take life into a negative light. In meditation, we can call it as a sweet escape!
